lately I have been a little bored and uninspired (I have barely written/drawn in my moleskines) so I felt like posting some of my favourite role models -- style, attitude, whatever. They are so awesome in every way, and they honestly are the most bad-ass babes around.

DEBBIE HARRY: lead singer of Blondie, another one of my favorite bands. The original badass babe, looks good in smeary red lipstick, messy hair, and crazy wet'n'wild eyeliner. Also wrote "heart of glass", which is a really really good driving-around type of song.



COURTNEY LOVE: self-explanatory, almost. Basically perfected the entire I-don't-give-a-shit attitude and style. Widow of kurt cobain, one of my teenage crushes. Shows she has excellent taste in men. Also coined the term KINDERWHORE, and generated a bunch of ripped-tulle wearing teens. Did I mention she's the lead singer of Hole? Yeah.



NANCY SPUNGEN: girlfriend of sid vicious! Colour me jealous. Also she was pretty crazy on her own. If you are badass enough for sid, then you are badass enough for me.



ANN + NANCY WILSON: the sister duo who made up Heart. Really good, and super talented, juss sayin'.



JOAN JETT: craaazy. very cool. Except that Kirsten Stewart is playing her in the biopic. FUCK THAT.



GRACE SLICK: MY ULTIMATE BAD-ASS. She isn't really a bad-ass, but come onnn she was the lead singer for JEFFERSON AIRPLANE? Like, really, she is fantastic and has the best voice I have heard in a long time. 60s babe, and you know it.
