seriously, I have been so obsessed with shaving the side of my head. It's just so.. awesome. There's a girl at my old highschool who did it, and I never imagined how amazing it looks until I saw her. Really! I am dying for it. Lately I've gone for the mock-look where I braid the side of my head into corn row-type things and pin it. That's about as close as I can go.

But someday, I'll get the guts to actually chop it half off, either that, or I'll be drunk enough to do it. I hope so.

P.S. I suggest looking up some shaved-head chicas.. like Alice Dellal, Cassie, and even Carmen Electra (which was a huge surprise..) did it. dope.

so today was a great day for talking and stuff, I've been meaning to post because I've been neglecting this for a while. So this is a build-up of posts that I've been meaning to post. Um, so this summer I have a few goals I need to complete, since school is up in ONE month. The list goes as is:



SUMMER TO-DO
1) learn to skateboard
2) do some art
3) get a sewing machine
4) get a driver's license
5) camp, camp, camp
6) volunteer
7) network...?
8) take more photos

P.S. I know this list in all likeliness won't get done. But when did it hurt to try?


anyways, I know shelby posted this earlierrr but I just love this song..."Hey" by the Pixies. I just don't know why, but when I hear it, I just want to bawl. I don't, but I get that feeling in my guts where I just want to cry. There's something about that song that gets me. Like shelby said, it's so raw. That's actually the perfect word for the Pixies in general. Just raw sound, so dirty and totally pure.


And you know what else? I'm excited about this summer. I feel crafty and creative. I need a hobby, so I've decided on getting back into art, but not just that, creating jewelry, making/tailoring my own clothes, cleaning up and going out. So, I'm going to show you a really classy site that gives you great DIY ideas:

It's mostly crafty things inspired by designers and interesting stuff. I like it, and I really want to give the porcelain pottery, faux fur vest, and the rosette headband a tryyy they look so good

Javier Marin

I am so amazed by Javier Marin and the work that he does, I love the way that you can see exactly how he used his hands to sculpt the piece, it's so tactile and I think it creates so much emotion in his pieces. I love love love him.

P.S my favorite ones are the giant heads. I just love the full lips on them!

Bang Bang

So CD Album Release Season has begun!!! So excited for this, some of my favorite artists are coming out with amazing NEW MATERIAL this spring. These aren't like the little artists that you have on your ipod and just listen to a couple of songs, THESE ARE SOME OF DA BEST (in my opinion) there is in the music BIZ. I fall in love with the entire album from beginning to end and eventually they all generate massive amounts of plays on my ipod. This means this summer will be very music filled because a good summer is not complete with some tunes DEFINING some crazy moments in your life. Like what you ask? Well although this is rather old "Bootylicious" can basically sum up my camp CCH experience in LDII and "Strawberry Fields" was definitely the theme song for my European adventure last year. So here's a partial list of stuff coming out soon that I'm really excited to come out. I guarantee I'm missing some, but please excuse that as I am human after all.

Montreal, I miss you

New York, I love you

I miss my trip to montreal/new york. I miss taking long trips to different places. I especially miss the train. It is definitely one of the better ways to travel. Forget planes. You meet way more people and it's worth the long travelling time. Scenery! Extended stops in small towns! Sitting in coach! I think this summer, since it's most likely that I won't be working an office job, I'll take a train trip down the california coast instead and take some photos. Or get inspired. I bought a new transfer pen today. I'm finally getting back into art again, I missed it a lot.

These are a few of my newest photos from my Diana F+ Lomography camera, I am pretty pleased with how some of them turned out. I will definitely be shooting more with this camera in the future, I love the dream-like quality of the light leaks as well as the vignetting on the sides. Dont hesitate to tell me what you think!
